Maldives Islamic Bank will fund a community project worth up to MVR 500,000 on the island that wins its Guesthouse Champion title.
The winner will be announced at the Guesthouse Symposium and Awards ceremony in Malé on 15 October 2026. The winning island can propose a project that benefits both residents and visiting tourists.
MIB said nominations drew strong support by the application deadline, and that it hopes the project will improve convenience and wellbeing for locals and visitors alike.
