The Maldives national football team will hold a training camp in Indonesia as part of its preparations for the SAFF Championship in Bangladesh.
The camp is scheduled from 26 October to 2 November, after which the squad will return to the Maldives before travelling for the tournament. The SAFF Championship runs from 4 to 17 November.
The domestic league has been paused to allow national team players to focus on the regional competition. Several Dhivehi Premier League clubs released players for the camp.
Officials said the Indonesia camp will provide high-quality training conditions and competitive preparation ahead of the championship.
The national side will seek to improve on previous SAFF performances as it enters the tournament.
