STELCO has officially commenced electricity supply services in Kulhudhuffushi City.

The state-owned company announced the start of regular service, expanding its footprint in the northern atolls. Kulhudhuffushi is one of the larger population centres outside the capital region and has seen ongoing infrastructure development.

The move is expected to improve the reliability and capacity of power supply for residents and businesses in the city. STELCO already operates generation and distribution networks in several other islands and atolls.
