Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has announced that shareholders registered by 2pm on 26 October 2026 will be eligible to participate in its special annual general meeting (EGM 01/2026).

The bank opened the process for the meeting, which is scheduled for November. Shareholders on the register by the cutoff date will be able to attend in person or by proxy and exercise voting rights.

MIB stated that the official notice containing the exact date, time, agenda and voting procedures will be published on the bank's investor relations website. Shareholders seeking further information can contact the investor relations department by email or phone.

The special meeting follows the bank's regular annual general meeting held earlier in the year. Details of the specific resolutions to be considered have not yet been released publicly.

MIB is one of the country's major Islamic banking institutions, and the meeting will address matters requiring shareholder approval under banking regulations.
