Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has opened a sales centre and an ATM in Sh. Funadhoo.
The facilities were inaugurated today and are intended to allow island residents and local businesses to carry out cash deposits, withdrawals and other banking transactions without travelling to larger centres.
MIB said the expansion improves convenience for the community and supports financial access outside the capital. No additional product details or customer numbers were released at the opening.
The bank already operates branches and ATMs across several atolls. The Funadhoo outlets form part of its network growth.
