Dhiraagu has opened applications for its 2027 Apprenticeship Programme.
The programme, run under the company’s corporate social responsibility activities focused on youth empowerment, is open to Maldivian nationals aged 18 to 30 who have completed their A-Levels and are not currently in full-time employment. Applications close on 30 November 2026.
Participants will receive structured on-the-job training across departments including analytics and business intelligence, brand and marketing communications, cloud and IT services, cybersecurity, financial accounting, human resources, revenue assurance and business control, sales, and stores and procurement.
The intake will be offered at Dhiraagu’s headquarters in Malé and at operational centres in Kulhudhuffushi City, Eydhafushi in Baa Atoll and Laamu Atoll. Training also covers soft skills such as time management, personal management, project planning and presentation.
Dhiraagu introduced the apprenticeship scheme in 2009 and has enrolled 312 young people since then. Many former apprentices have gone on to careers inside the company or elsewhere in the private sector.
Interested applicants can apply through the company’s website. The programme is one of the longest-running structured corporate apprenticeship initiatives in the Maldives.
