Bank of Maldives (BML) has been appointed as the official banking partner for Maldives Expo 2026.
The partnership highlights BML’s commitment to supporting businesses, productive sectors and innovative initiatives across the country. The Expo is organised by the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade in collaboration with the Business Centre Corporation (BCC).
It is scheduled to run from next Friday until 2 November at Hulhumalé Central Park. The event aims to showcase Maldivian products, crafts and creative work, giving traders and independent producers a platform to promote their goods and reach wider markets.
BML said the Expo offers a valuable opportunity for businesses to connect with buyers and expand their reach. As the national bank, BML has reiterated its longstanding support for initiatives that strengthen Maldivian enterprises, encourage creative thinking and contribute to economic diversification.
BML also served as the main sponsor for Maldives Expo 2025.
Organisers expect the event to attract a wide range of local businesses and visitors interested in supporting domestic production.
